ABOUT SEMINAR
Over the years, Gujarat’s herbaceuticals sector has become innovation-driven and currently providing employment to around 85,000 people with an aim to attract global opportunities and become a global herbaceuticals hub. More over Gujarat state possesses rich plant diversity. It has traditional knowledge rich ethnic society. So it would be great opportunity to use this traditional knowledge to create health or dietary supplement made with these indigenous plants for the betterment of the health of people of Gujarat state. Over the last 20 years the number of herbaceuticals available for self medication in pharmacies or for sale in supermarkets and health food shops has grown enormously, fostered by wide media coverage of their benefits. The main objective of this seminar is to provide a common forum for the discussion of recent trends on all aspects of natural products and herbaceuticals which facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas in the area of herbal and herbaceuticals.
Seminar includes of plenary lectures and poster presentations which aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of natural products, neutraceuticals and herbaceuticals. This seminar will outline the major herbaceuticals with therapeutic applications in a number of important therapeutic areas and helps the healthy India mission of Government of India.
