School of pharmacy, Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida (UP) is one of the leading institutes of pharmacy in Northern India. Aim and Objective of seminar
Industry-institute interactions are important to strengthen the ties for organizing campus placement services for the pharmacy graduates and to generate resources for research and development for post-graduates. In India, pharmacy education has grown at a pace needed by the pharmaceutical industry. The pharmacy profession comprising the industrial and practice sectors is undergoing rapid changes in India. A profession which was not much popular amongst the undergraduate students is rapidly gaining momentum because of the growing need of the industry. The ever-expanding pharmaceutical industry and practice sectors need clinically and technologically trained pharmacy professionals who can face global challenges and compete with the multinationals.
There is however a gap between what the industry expects out of the pharmacy graduates and postgraduates and what the institutes produce.
The aim of this seminar to bring the industry-academia in a common platform to discuss various technical and professional skills that industry expects from a pharmacy graduates. This also includes the following:
*    To discuss the thrust area for industry-academia collaboration
*    Proposal for industry-academia incubation center
*    Task specific training program
*    Development of entrepreneurship in pharma - graduates

Who can participate ?
For the industry : To get connected to the current academic scenario and how to make a difference so as to get job-ready and skilled manpower straight out of college.
For the student: To get a close insight into the Pharmaceutical industry and the people who matter.
For the academia: To find out the gap areas and identify how we as an academician can fill them and make a difference.
For the regulator : To address the regulatory topics, which an academician must know and get included in the academic curriculum.

Conference details
The conference includes brainstorming sessions about engaging the pharmaceutical industry during the course of study of Pharmacy.

Call for Abstract
Poster presentation: Delegates are encouraged for poster presentation on the related topics. The abstract for poster presentation are invited from participants. Abstract should not be more then 150 words, title should be in Time New Roman, uppercase, 12 pt, bold & the text should be in Time New Roman 12 pt justified. The abstract will be reviewed by experts of the scientific committee (first author should be marked with star*).

•Last date for submission of abstract for poster: 02/11 /2016 Presenters for accepted posters would be notified by mail by 06/11/2016.
• Registration for seminar is mandatory for presenters.
• PosterSize: 36" x48" (Portrait)

Poster presentation :Participants are also encouraged for poster presentation on the related topics. Last date for submission of abstract for poster :07/11/2016

A registration fee includes permission to attend the inauguration ceremony and lectures, a registration kit bag and lunch. Certificate of attendance would be given to all the delegates in the valedictory ceremony.
