Walk-in-Interview will be held on 5th November, 2013 at 04.00 P.M in the Seminar Room of Department of Biophysics, Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata- 700054 for one position of Junior Research Fellow in the DBT sponsored project entitled, “Biophysical and Structural Aspects of Oncogenic G-Quartets bound to Drugs: Screening, High Resolution NMR and Low Resolution Spectroscopy(RGYI)”, under the guidance of Dr. Subhrangsu Chatterjee, Department of Biophysics. The project is tenable for three years. Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows:
Post: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. or M.Pharm (at least 60% marks) with GATE or NET or GPAT.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer techniques like Modeling, Molecular Dynamics (Desmond, AMBER, GROMACS) with knowledge of programming language like C++ is a prerequisite. Work experience on Linux platform is a must.
Fellowship:
Rs.16,000/- p.m., plus admissible H.R.A. for M.Sc. with CSIR-UGC NET-JRF and M.Pharm with GPAT or GATE or CSIR-UGC NET-JRF/NET-LS.
Rs. 12,000/- p.m., plus admissible H.R.A. for M.Sc. with CSIR-UGC NET-LS/ GATE/GPAT
Age: Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
