Job Description:
Grow and lead the India Analytical Pharmaceutical Development Unit (different dosage form) by setting the local operational objectives (innovation, quality, cost effectiveness and efficiency), in alignment with the global PHAD functions. Fosters a culture of empowerment, trust, learning, Diversity & Inclusion and high performance and has the disciplinary and legal responsibility for the people assigned to her/his PDU.

Candidate Profile: PhD / Post Doc in pharmaceutical science, analytical chemistry, or related comparable relevant discipline

* More than 15+ years of experience in a Global Pharma GMP environment
* 5+ years of successful performance and track record in the role of line/people manager in technical Research and Development, preferably in the analytical area, or a related industrial area (e.g., Technical Operations)
* Proven track record of successfully managing interfaces to other functions.
* At least 2 years of work experience outside India, would be desirable.
* Proven track record of leading global teams.
* Effective people manager, leader and communicator: successfully influences, manages and develops people according to the needs of Global PHAD
* Manages resource allocation and capacity adequately to ensure timelines and key milestones are met.
* Ensures good communication and problem solving in the team and across organizational boundaries.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Excellent teamwork in multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
