Essential Qualification & Experience:
* Degree in Pharmacy or 10+2 with Diploma in Pharmacy of minimum 2 years duration and registered with Pharmacy council of  India/ State Pharmacy council;
* At least 1 yr post qualification experience in a Hospital/ Nursing Home.

Reservation: UR-04,  OBC-01,  SC-01,  ST-02

Upper age limit: (as on 01-05-2013)-28 years for  S3 grade and S1 grade

Relaxation in age: - 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates. For Ex-servicemen age, relaxation applicable as per rules.

For all posts of Trainees against S3 & S1 grade (Non-Executives) selected candidates will be under Training for a period of 2 years. During the training candidates selected for S3 grade shall be paid a Consolidated pay of Rs 10700/- per month for the 1st year and Rs 12200/- per month for the 2nd year. Similarly candidates selected for S1 grade shall be paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 8600/- per month for the 1st year and Rs. 10000/- per month for the 2nd year. On successful completion of training they will be regularized in S3 and S1 grade respectively.

Emoluments and other benefits:
The emoluments for the post of Medical Officer include basic pay, dearness allowances, non-practicing allowance, perquisites and other facilities such as medical facility for self and family, provident fund, gratuity etc., as admissible as per rules of the company. In addition, House Rent will be paid only where company accommodation is not available.
The emoluments for the post of Paramedical Staff on confirmation after 2 years of training will include basic pay, dearness allowance, reimbursement of local travelling expenses and other facilities such as  such as medical facility for self and family, provident fund, gratuity, LTC etc., as admissible as per rules of the company. In addition, House Rent allowance will be paid only where company accommodation is not available.

General Information:

  • Reservation for different category of candidates will be as per Presidential Directives.
  • There is age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates on production of Caste Certificate/disability certificate (for PWD candidates) issued by Competent Authority in the prescribed format as given in the website (as applicable) at the time of interview. The OBC certificate including creamy layer status should have been issued in the current financial year (not earlier than financial year 12-13). OBC candidates belonging to creamy layer should indicate their category as ‘General’ and are not entitled to any relaxation / reservation.
  • Bokaro Steel Plant reserves the right to reject the applications that are not complete or do not conform to the eligibility requirements and no communication in this regard will be made to the applicants.
  • Candidates employed in Govt. departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies will have to produce NOC at the time of interview.
  • Candidates should retain a photocopy of their Pay in Slip and Registration Slip as they can be asked to produce it for future reference.
  • PH reservation on horizontal basis applicable for candidates having more than 40% disability. In case of post of Medical Officers, reservation is applicable for Orthopedically Handicapped candidates (OL: One Leg affected, OA: one arm affected). For posts of Paramedical staff at Sl.No.01-06, reservation is applicable for Hearing Handicapped (PD: Partially Deaf) candidates with a minimum of 40 % disability.
  • At the time of Interview, if the certificates brought by the candidates are not written in English or Hindi they should be accompanied with translated English/Hindi copies and the same should be attested by Gazetted officer.
  • All correspondence with candidates shall be done through e-mail only. All information regarding examination schedule/admit card/ interview call letters etc. shall be provided through email/uploading on SAIL website. Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of admit card/interview call/ any other information shall be of the candidate. SAIL will not be responsible for any loss of email sent, due to invalid/wrong email ID provided by the candidate or for delay/not receipt of information if a candidates fails to access his/her mail/website in time.
  • Candidates are not required to send any document to SAIL. The candidates will be allowed to appear in the Written Test /Interview only if they possess the valid Photo Admit Card which will be available for download from the SAIL website as per schedule indicated below.
  • The vacancies shown above are provisional and liable to be increased or decreased or may even be reduced to nil; in which case Bokaro Steel Plant/ SRU, is not liable to compensate the applicant for the consequential damage.
  • If the candidates do not fulfil any of the conditions given in the Employment Notice his/her candidature will be cancelled at any stage whenever the discrepancy is noticed.
