Career for M.Pharm,M.Sc, B.Sc as Senior Research Fellows, Research Assistants in Kerala Agricultural University | 10 Posts

The Kerala Agricultural University is the primary and the principal instrumentality of the Kerala State in providing human resources, and skills and technology, required for the sustainable development of its agriculture, defined broadly encompassing all production activities based on land and water, including crop production (agriculture), animal husbandry, forestry and fishery through conducting, interfacing and integrating education, research and extension in these spheres of economic endeavour.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for selection to the following temporary posts of Senior Research Fellows and Research Assistants in the ICAR XIIth Plan - Institutional grant project component at AMPRS, Odakkali - ‘Strengthening Research on Medicinal Plants & Bioactive Components’ for 1 year and seven months (from September,2013 to 31/3/2015) or till the completion of the project if extended, on contract basis.

Post: Senior Research Fellows, Research Assistants

1. Candidates with minimum 65% marks in the qualifying examination and age not exceeding 36 years as on 01-01-2013 (age limit is relaxable for 3 years in case of OBC and 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates) may send application in the format appended by email to : amprs@kau.in on or before 20-07-2013. However, originals along with a self attested copy of the following documents should be produced for verification at the time of screening/interview.
i. Additional copy of the application form duly filled and signed by the applicant.
ii. Certificate to prove date of birth
iii. Caste certificate in case of SC/ST and non-creamy layer certificate in case of OBC candidates
iv. SSLC or equivalent mark list
v. Higher secondary or equivalent mark list
vi. Degree certificate
vii. Degree mark list
viii. Post graduate degree certificate
ix. Post graduate degree mark list
x. Certificate of experience relevant to the post applied for, if any
xi. Scientific publications, other trainings & certifications in the field of specialisation

2. Candidate applying for more than one post should send separate sets of applications.

3. Candidates may refer to the web site kau.edu for getting information on the venue, date and time of screening test and interview. No individual communication will be sent by post.

5. Applications received late or incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected without notice and the decision of the undersigned on such matters will be final.

6. The positions are temporary and the incumbents stand terminated on the date of termination of the scheme. Working in the scheme will not entitle the candidate for any claim in future appointment to any post in the University.

7. The undersigned shall have the right to terminate the appointment of an incumbent if his/her work/conduct is found unsatisfactory.

8. Once posted, the incumbent has to give one month’s prior notice in writing to quit the job before the end of the project period. Otherwise, one month’s salary will be forfeited.
