Job Description:
* Identify potential Pharmaceutical sponsors to secure business contracts for drug discovery partnerships in multiple therapeutic areas with large capitalization companies.
* Create new business opportunities with India and U.S. clients in the pharmaceutical as well as biotechnology industries.
* Develop strategic business development plan for expanding client base(both new and existing) , analyze markets, present sales forecasts annually and quarterly, present the CRO market situation in terms of services and costs, develop the sales territory and maintain the sales database.
* Handle all aspects of the business development process including lead generation and initial contract formulation, present PPD capabilities, secure CDAs, and generate master service agreements as well as quality agreements.
* Present Medicinal Chemistry, Structural Biology, DMPK, Computational Biology, PPD bioanalytical as well as laboratory (cross-sell GCL, GMP and GRP) service capabilities to Pharmaceutical/Biotech clientele and close business quotations with tenacity under high conversion.
* Participate and represent the company in various trade shows, industry conferences and other company business unit sales/project management meetings.
* Travel nationally and internationally as required to present company services.
Candidate Profile:
# Working experience of minimum 10 years with proven sales results and leadership skills having superior understanding of pharmaceutical advancement process from drug discovery/lead optimization through late-stage clinical trials moving into commercial drug substances is required.
# BE/M. Pharma/M.Tech/PhD/PDF along with an MBA having sound knowledge of Pharmaceutical and Biotech market in India and North America.
