Job Description
Key skills: QA/QC testing, fireproofing materials, volume & surface area calculations, calibration of instruments
Job Profile:
- Managing overall QA/QC activities of Thermolite, Vermiculite and WB3 departments.
- Providing MTCs and COCs as applicable with dispatch of materials.
- Providing monthly QC data of Fireproofing materials to Licensor.
- Facing UL surveillance inspection for all Fireproofing products listed under three files.
- Co-ordinating with UL surveyor and UL office with regards to issue of reports.
- Co-ordinating with UL surveyor during sampling of Fireproofing products of our three files and sending them for testing to UL Chicago Lab.
- Getting type tests of our products and samples of other parties done at third party labs.
- Issuing QAP/ITP to client or TPI agencies for getting inspections conducted.
- Arranging and conducting all the client and Third party inspections for all products.
- Providing all the relevant documents, certificates etc, required for inspection clearance.
- Answering technical queries of clients.
- Developing products as per clients requirements.
- Addressing all the non-conformities of the products reported from site.
- Resolving client complaints through site visit, in-house and external testing.
- Responsible for calibration of all instruments.
- Keeping a record of calibration data, calibration agencies and cost incurred.
Candidate Profile
- Male candidates Only
- Knowledge on volume & surface area calculations
- Chemical Knowledge on lime, silica, paints, calcium silicate
Education: BSc or MSc Chemistry Only
Experience Range: 2-5 years
