Job Description:
* Project managing business development agreements and grant applications in conjunction with a cross-functional team, including scientific and legal experts to ensure timely completion.
* Negotiating reasonable commercial terms for research agreements and collaborations
Secondary Responsibilities (as appropriate):
* Providing competitive intelligence on Piramal pipeline products to key stakeholders
* Detailed due diligence for licensing(in and out), including "bottoms-up" commercial sales forecasting for pharmaceutical products and financial valuation
* Detailed financial modeling in Excel including DCF and NPV valuations
* Strategic planning projects
* Pharmaceutical portfolio management, including use of Monte Carlo simulation techniques
Desired Skill Sets:
* The applicant should possess the ability to liaise seamlessly with a group of research scientists, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; work with multidisciplinary teams.
* Prior experience in business development/alliance management/technology transfer is desirable. Experience in groups such as Corporate Strategy, Portfolio Management, Marketing, and R&D Finance within a global life sciences/biopharma environment or an international consulting firm or investment bank would be an added advantage.
