Job Description, Key Skills and Competencies:
* Has the ability to conceive and drive projects based on Immuno-oncology
* Excellent in-depth knowledge and technical skills in cell and molecular biology, state-of-the art technologies to conduct innovative research and overall exposure to drug discovery
* Has the ability to integrate learning from other disciplines in guiding project teams.
* Track record of successfully leading drug discovery projects which led to licensing/ entry into clinical trials.
* Possess excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work within a team to accomplish projects that require the cooperation and efforts of several individuals from different work groups within the company.
* Demonstrated management and leadership skills
* Ability to effectively engage and interact with external experts including productive management of scientific collaborations

The incumbent will lead a group of highly experienced Cell & Assay Biologists, involved in multiple projects (both internal and collaboration projects), guiding them in their activities from both a strategic and operational standpoint.

In addition, the incumbent will actively drive specific programs in Immuno-oncology, from project ideation, assay strategy and set up, defining the Target Product Profile, until the IND stage or beyond. He/ she will also actively participate in working closely with internal and external stakeholders (such as potential Licensees/ Collaborators).
