Job description:
- To provide molecular modelling and cheminformatic support for various discovery projects in close partnership with medicinal chemists, biochemists, pharmacologists and DMPK scientists.
- To drive in silico lead identification and optimisation projects by applying state-of-the-art computational chemistry tools representing "CADD research" in interdisciplinary project teams.
- To analyze chemical structures in relation to biological activity in order to guide novel compound design or help design the SAR both independently and in collaboration with medicinal chemists
- To evaluate different softwares related to modelling and cheminformatics and make recommendations for their purchase
Candidate Profile:
- Ph.D. in Computational/ Medicinal chemistry or equivalent degree with hands-on modeling research experience.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant industrial experience is desired
- Excellent scientific communication and collaborative skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
