Association of Inspectors of Drugs seek promotion and asked government to fill vacant posts

Association of Inspectors of Drugs (AIDA), Assam is requested to Assam Health & Family welfare for urgent sitting of DPC and appointment of controlling and Licensing Authority of Drugs control organization. They have also requested for promotion and asked government to fill vacant posts

AIDA was shown concern that there Is no licensing and controlling Authority of Drugs control organization of Assam, since 01/02/2020, the senior most officer, as per APSC and gradation list and service rules (Amended) may be given charge of the same at the earliest possible.

Many of drug inspectors completed more than 25 years of regular service as Inspector of Drugs without promotion. AIDA also suggested that there should be urgent sitting of departmental promotional committee held as many posts of SR Inspector of Drugs are lying vacant.

They also asked for promotion to Deputy Drugs controller, Jt. Drugs controller and Drugs controller so that a full Hedged Drugs control organization of Assam stands for the future challenge.

AIDA also said in a notification that all vacant posts of Inspector of Drugs may be filled up at the earliest for smooth & efficient functioning of Drugs control organization under FDA.
