Job Description:
Reports to:Indian Operations Head – GM&S CoE
Job Purpose:
Provide analytical support to Country Organizations (CPO)/Global Business Franchise (BF) teams in the production of standardised reports, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), MPR (Monthly Performance Report) and undertake ad-hoc projects in the areas of business analytics, business intelligence and market research.
Major Accountabilities:
• Develop, automate and update monthly Key Performance Indicator Reports for General Medicine Brands – these include IMS sales and volume analysis, SOV and dynamic Rx source of business analysis
• Coordinate with Global/CPO teams in evolving and designing new KPI reports and dashboards that aid robust analysis
• Manage and drive Monthly Performance Report for Global Teams/Country Organizations, based on existing IMS data feeds and data warehouse (Business Objects etc.)
• Maintain and enhance existing Global Teams/Country Organizations market forecasts & healthcare trends across retail and hospital segment
• Pro-actively manage the existing E-library to store primary and secondary data reports and KPIs – working with the Data Management Analysts
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from the Market Research Analysts and Regional Business Analysts to support daily needs for analysis and slides that can support Brand Reviews
• Work closely with the Business Analytics and Marketing Science management teams to gain greater insight in to the future trends for General Medicine Brands
• Work on Return on Investment analyses based on existing IMS and other data based on direction from the Marketing Science and Business Analytics management teams
• Coach and mentor Analysts & Senior Analysts with skills & techniques to perform their day to day functions more efficiently and effectively
• Take ownership of deliverables and drive customer interaction and communication within Business Analytics team
• Collaborate with functional heads and team leads in driving quality and accuracy of deliverables; constantly work on improving systems, processes and quality matrices that add value to the existing solutions and offerings.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal Background
MBA with Graduate / Post Graduate in Pharmacy/Science
• 5 years+ experience in Business Analytics (Pharma) with at least 3+ year in Market Research with specific experience of producing Key Performance Indicators or similar monthly reports for Senior Management.

Required Skills:
• Strong quantitative & market research background
• Understanding of IMS data, pharma market databases and trends
• Ability to run analyses in Microsoft Excel - can manipulate data from IMS and other suppliers in Microsoft Excel to produce meaningful analyses
• Strong strategic forecasting experience
• Strong story boarding and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and flexibility through effective and innovative leadership ability
• Attention to detail and quality focused.
• Organizational, planning, resource and project management skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to operate effectively in an international environment.
• Ability to arrive at simple yet robust analysis and insights from complex data sources; ability to convert hard/raw data into meaningful analysis
• Strong stakeholder management skills
