The Central University of Rajasthan has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009, The Gazette of India, No. 27, published on 20th March, 2009 as a new Central University, and is fully funded by the Government of India. The President of India, His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee, is the Visitor of the Central University of Rajasthan.

Essential Qualifications
A. a. A basic degree in pharmacy (B. Pharm.). b. Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments. c. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy, and experience of ten years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade;
B. In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
a. First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy; and b. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy and industrial / professional experience of five years at a senior level comparable to Assistant Professor / Reader, Provided that the recognition for significant professional shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a 3-Member Committee of Experts appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University. AND
C. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in Appendix III of the UGC Regulations, 2010 and its amendments from time to time.

Online applications are invited from Indian nationals including Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) to fill up the following posts on direct recruitment basis. All the posts advertised here are of UR category. These posts are identified as UR category by both the guidelines (i) UGC Guidelines, 2006 and (ii) latest UGC guidelines dated 05-03-2018. Other vacant posts for which guidelines (i) and (ii) above are not in agreement as UR, will be advertised later after the agreement is resolved. The reserved category posts which are vacant will also be advertised later.
Eligible/suitable candidates may submit their online application in the prescribed format. Candidates working in Govt./Semi Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Institutions/ etc. are advised to submit their applications through proper channel. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

Note: This is a Rolling Advertisement. If sufficient number of applications are received for a particular position by July 01, 2018 then it will be processed for interview in the first phase to be held around July 15, 2018 onwards. Applications received after July 01, 2018 shall be considered for the next phase of interview which will be notified in due course of time. The University shall update the vacancy positions periodically.
