Tripura University

Netaji Subhas Mahavidyalaya is a Government General Degree College affiliated to Tripura University, a Central University. This College was established on 21st September, 1979 as an Udaipur Government Degree College. It was renamed after the name of the great son of our motherland, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth day 23rd January, 1997. The College is situated at the Udaipur Sub-Division of the Gomati District of Tripura and it is 48 K.M. away from the capital of Tripura, Agartala.

ABSTRACT:
Central nervous system (CNS) drug development will be biology driven. Due to absence of functional platform for CNS drug targeting since, the large molecules pharmaceuticals cannot be delivered to brain. About 1.5 billion people worldwide are suffering from various type of central nervous system (CNS) disorders. Overcome to this problem modern pharmaceutical technology manufacturing the nonaparticles. Properly use of nonamedicines (nanoparticles) is one of the ways to control the CNS disorder in all over world. Nanoparticles are particles between 1 to 100 nm in size. Using nanotechnology it is possible to deliver the drug to the specific site of the tissue across the Blood -Brain Barrier (BBB).Various types of nanoparticle are available for treatment of CNS disorders. These are lipid based nanoparticles, solid lipid nanoparticles, polymer-based nanoparticles etc.

Department of Pharmacy, Tripura University provides an excellent opportunity for young and motivated researchers to pursue a career in pharmaceutical chemistry and medicinal chemistry research. Department of Pharmacy endeavors in providing better human health through innovative research. The labs are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to conduct animal and in-vitro experimentation with an interdisciplinary approach.

Higher education in Tripura had a late start. Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) College, the first degree college in the State, started functioning under the University of Calcutta only in 1947. Not that there was no attempt in the past in Princely Tripura to establish any higher educational institution.

INTRODUCTION
Spectroscopy is the measurement and interpretation of Electromagnetic radiation (EMR) absorbed or emitted when the molecules or atoms or ions of a sample move from one energy state to another energy state. This change may be ground state to exited state or vice-versa. EMR is made up of discrete particles called photons. EMR has got both wave characteristic as well as particle characteristics. This means that it can travel in vacuum also.

INTRODUCTION
Couroupita guianensis, whose common names include Anantasajja and the Cannonball Tree, is an evergreen tree allied to the Brazil Nut (Bertholletia excelsa), and is native to tropical northern South America and to the southern Caribbean. In India it has been growing for the past two or three thousand years at least, as attested by textual records hence it is possible that it is native to India also.
