RCU has been setup by Ramchandra Chandravansi Welfare Trust (RCWT) which was registered in the year 2006. Since its inception, the mission of the founding fathers has been to spread education to ordinary citizens of India, particularly those hailing from backward regions of the state of Jharkhand and India. Royal College of Pharmacy is one of the oldest among the various colleges of Chhattisgarh, as its stepping stone was placed in the year 2004. Our College was established by the society of Combined Academy of Technical Education, Raipur. This Society made it unique centre of excellence at all levels of Pharmaceutical Education under the leadership of Chairman. The institution has been approved by PCI, New Delhi and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi (Formerly), Affliated from Chhattishgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai.

Gyan Jyoti College of Pharmacy was established in 2019. We are affiliated to Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. We run D.Pharm, B.Pharm, BPT, B.Sc. MLT, ANM, GNM, DMLT, Diploma in X-Ray Technician, Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant, Diploma in Operation Theatre Assistant and Dresser courses at our college. We strive to stimulate a lasting attitude of social responsibility by promoting academic freedom and personality enhancement within its students.

G M College of Pharmacy was established in 2015 and is managed by Mahatma Buddh Welfare & Education Trust through its Management Committee duly constituted as per the norms. Institute has been recognized by the Government of Bihar and approved by PCI.
