JNIMS Society was first registered on 18th December, 2007 vide registration no.312/M/SR/2007 under the Presidentship of Hon'ble Chief Minister, Manipur. The College has already started PG course in 7 different pre and Para-clinical departments. We have also applied for opening PG Course in 6 different para-clinical and clinical departments for which permission is being awaited. The institution have also applied for openings BDS course for which inspection is expected to take place very soon. A number of CME's workshops and conferences are being conducted by different departments at different times during the last one year.

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, with the mandate of development and promotion of Sports in the country. SAI’s main objective today is to achieve excellence in sports and train & prepare sportspersons to participate in international competitions. It has international standard sports infrastructure spread across the country along with trained coaches to achieve its objectives..

The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development although registered in April, 2001, under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, the regular activity of the Institute could be started only with the appointment of its first Director on 18th January, 2003. Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India established the Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) at Imphal, Manipur in the year 2001. It is not only a unique institute of its kind in India but also amongst the very few in the world. The main mandate of this institute is conservation and sustainable utilization of bioresources for the socio-economic development of the region.

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal is situated at Lamphelpat, Imphal, Manipur. Manipur is one of the States in the northeastern part of the India. Regional Institute of Medical Sciences has total area of 300 acres of land and located at about 8 km away from Imphal Airport and 1.5 km away from Imphal city.

In this regard, a Walk- in-Interview will be held shortly at NHM, Medical Directorate, Lamphclpat for selection of suitable candidate on contract engagement of the following posts under State Health Society, NIIM, Manipur for eleven (11) months, which may be extended based upon their performance.

For quite a few years since the Rio-Summit, 1992 there have been discussions at various local forum about the requirement of a capable institution to take care of the rich biodiversity of Manipur and its surrounding areas. The inclusion of the North East Region in the list of Mega-biodiversity hot-spots of the world caused an ever increased fillip to the researchers, resource planners, environmental enthusiasts and the local think- tanks about stopping depletion of biodiversity in the region and finding scientific ways of sustainable uses of bioresources.
