National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as Beri-Beri Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a Deficiency Disease Enquiry and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged Nutrition Research Laboratories (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.At the time of its golden jubilee in 1969, it was renamed as National Institute of Nutrition (NIN).

CSMCRI with much scientific excitement has now achieved technological excellence with several granted patents in the core mandate of the institute and is one among the top performing national R&D laboratories in the country. At the beginning of 2011, the Institute has around 360 staff with 150 S&T staff on its roll and around 250 research fellows and project assistants pursing their doctoral programme.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment of various category posts at the health institutions of YSR District under the control of the DCHS/DM&HO and Superintendent of Government General Hospital, YSR District on Contract / Out sourcing basis.

Applications are invited for filling up the following posts under Zilla Swasthya Samity. Subarnapur on contractual basis or a period of 11 months with monthly remuneration as noted against each and subject to renewal as per Society norms basing on the performance and subject to continuance of the programme. Lower age limit for all the posts is 21 years.

National Institute of Technology Calicut, formerly Regional Engineering College Calicut, is a public technical university and an institute of national importance governed by the NIT Act passed by the Parliament of India. The campus is situated 22 kilometres north east of Kozhikode, on the Kozhikode Mukkam Road. The Institute proposes to conduct a walk- in- interview for the selection of Pharmaceutical Assistant on contract basis for a period of eleven months in NITC Health Centre.

The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) was set up by an act of Parliament during 1972. The erstwhile Marine Products Export Promotion Council established by the Government of India in September 1961 was converged in to MPEDA on 24th August 1972. MPEDA is given the mandate to promote the marine products industry with special reference to exports from the country.
