    Online applications are invited from Indian nationals for the award of Chinese Government Scholarship 2016 under India-China Cultural Exchange Program for the academic year 2016-17 for higher studies/research/specialized training in the following subject fields.

    The University of Cambridge is one of the world's oldest universities and leading academic centres. It is made up of over 150 departments, faculties, schools and other institutions.  Cambridge also has 31 colleges which are independent institutions, each with its own property and income. The Colleges appoint their own staff on their own terms and conditions and are responsible for selecting students, in accordance with University regulations. The teaching of students is shared between the Colleges and University departments. Degrees are awarded by the University.

    The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world. As early as in 1911, the Government of India set up the Indian Research Fund Association (IRFA) with the specific objective of sponsoring and coordinating medical research in the country. After independence, several important changes were made in the organisation and the activities of the IRFA. It was redesignated in 1949 as the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) with considerably expanded scope of functions.

The Newton International Fellowships programme is available to eligible applicants from any country outside the UK.

  • ADINA Young Scientist Award 2016

    ADINA Group of Institutions (AGI) was established in 2005 under aegis of Shri. Prem Chand Jain Memorial Society for Education. At present, two institutes i.e. ADINA Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and ADINA Institute of Science and Technology are successfully running under the umbrella of AGI and some other institutions are also in pipe-line.

  • Career in UGC-BSR Research Fellowships (5 Posts) in Maharshi Dayanand University

    Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976  with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. It was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977 after the name of a great visionary and social reformer, Maharshi Dayanand. It had a unitary and residential character in its nascent stage, but became an affiliating University in November 1978. The University secured the recognition of University Grants Commission – the higher education regulatory body of India - for central Govt. grants in Feb. 1983.
