National Institute of Pathology (NIP) has emerged as one of the premier research institutes of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), with the commitment to contribute through excellence in scientific research. The Institute was recognized as an Institute of Excellence by Ministry of Health & FW for running courses for short-term training for technicians and pathologists for WHO.

Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) under Ministry of Ayush is an apex body for conducting research in Siddha system of medicine and provides health care facilities through its 8 peripheral institutes / units and 5 co-located units of CCRS. The Council is engaged in multifaceted research activities. In the area of clinical research, pre-clinical Pharmacological / Toxicological studies, Open label trials, multi-centric Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) are being conducted for acute and chronic diseases.

National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG) Kalyani is an Institute of Government of India, Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology. The Institute has created necessary physical infrastructure and critical platform technologies to support research, translation, and training in biomedical genomics.

NIAB, an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focus is on animal genetics and genomics, transgenesis, stem cell & its applications, reproductive biotechnology, infectious diseases, nanotechnology, bioinformatics and Nutrigenomics.

Jawaharlal Nehru University is the foremost university in India, and a world-renowned centre for teaching and research. Ranked number one in India by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a Grade Point of 3.91 (on a scale of 4), JNU was ranked no 3 among all universities in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework, Government of India, in 2016 and no 2 in 2017. JNU also received the Best University Award from the President of India in 2017.

The Central University of Odisha has been established by the Parliament under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (No. 3C of 2009). It is one of the 15 new Central Universities established by the Government of India during the UGC XI Plan period to address the concerns of "equity and access" and as per the policy of the Government of India to increase the access to quality higher education by people in less educationally developed districts which have a Graduate Enrollment Ratio of less than the national average of 11%. 

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance established by an Act of Parliament under the aegis of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India.

The institute completed its 100 years in 2019, and we wish to take forward the legacy with rejuvenated vigor and sheer dedication with a commitment to nation building. The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi owes its existence to Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of the first residential University of modern India, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), who could foresee the vital role of technical education in strengthening independent India.
