Patient who underwent renal

Antibiotics and immunosuppertants should not prescribed easily at same time.

Patient who underwent renal transplant and receiving immunosuppresants are at risk of transplant rejection or nephrotoxicity if given with certain antibiotics in Pnemonia or respiratory tract infections.

Patients receiving cyclosporine are at higher risk of nephrotoxicity when erythromycin, clarithromycin, aminoglycosides, trimethoproim and sulfamethoxazole, or vancomycin are prescribed for the management of bacterial respiratory tract infections.

If possible, Patient may administered with beta-lactam antibiotics or fluoroquinolones with cyclosporine. It is mandatory to check serum cyclosporine and renal function  performance, so that the dose of cyclosporine can be altered to monitor nephrotoxicity or deep immunosuppression.
