Right decision to go in which job after B.Pharm

Sir, this year I have passed b.pharm. I didn't taking right decision to go in which job, I am so confused.

I choose this 3 jobs.
2.cilnical research sector

So plz sir give me some suggestions which one will better for me.

Pharmacy is a profession

Pharmacy is a profession which gives you different areas of jobs to join in. After B.Pharm one can join in Producction, QA, QC, Clinical research (CR), DRA, Hospital Pharmacist, pharma marketing etc.

And that's really appreciating that you choose three out of that as you mentioned which are production, CR and Hospital Pharmacist.

I am giving you brief ideas on each of them, but choose career wise upon your own interest.

Production - Industry hires pharma and non-pharma graduates/postgraduates in production department. In Production you may have to work in shifts until you reach on certain seniority level. It looks like office work though it requires hard work and sincerity.
This may be brief areas of working in production: Granulation, Coating, Capsule, Encapsulation, Compression, Bottle Packing, Bulk Packing, Blister Packing, Manufacturing QMS, Investigation, Market Complaint, Documentation etc.


Clinical Research – Clinical Research Industry is all set to become the next big demanding career in India. A large population with a substantial workforce and cost benefits influence multinationals to set up research facilities here. People with  B.Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy, Pharm D, B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech(Biotech), M.Tech(Biotech), MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BMS, BPT, Nursing etc are all eligible.

The discipline of Drug Development Clinical Research has created multiple cross functional opportunities in the Industry, namely

Job profiles for Hospital Pharmacist
• Dispensing the drugs as per prescription / indents
• Building customer relationship for effective service towards total patient care
• Patent Counseling and Pharmacy Maintenance
• Dosage instructions and precautions to the Patents
• Receive the stock from stores and check against the Issue slips for quantity, batch no, expiry etc
• Doing physical verification of stocks with computer data daily
• Regular checking of short-expiry medicines

Think wisely, and choose a career which suits you better.
