Career in Regulatory affairs for Chemistry professionals

 

Dear All,

This is my first post.

I am Ph.D Chemistry with 2 yrs experience as Analytical development Chemist (R&D)in pharmaceutical,i am pursuing PG Diploma in pharma regulatory Affairs.

I am thinking of career in regulatory affairs but all jobs i see demands candidate with Medical or Pharma degree.

Can anyone guide me if chemistry professional can also go into regulatory affairs or not.I am looking for response.

if u want 2 increase your prospect in this field, i hv an advice 4 u as u r a girl candidate. try for IPR training under the DST scheme of WOS-c.

You are at initial stages of carrier. U obtained PhD! Why to doubt?
I would suggest, be in research; initially u will get frustration but future will be
full of gain (financial as well as dignity)

No, chemistry students can not make career in regulatory affairs. This area can better searved by M. Pharm or by experianced B. Pharm candidates.
