Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. THSTI is developed as a part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster located at Faridabad, in the National Capital Region. THSTI is designed as a dynamic, interactive organization with a mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into tangible products to improve human health.

(i) Principal Scientist-ll
Maximum monthly consolidated emoluments  : Upto Rs. 1,92,000/-
Age Limit : 55 years
Minimum Qualifications & Experience : MD or equivalent OR Ph.D in Life Sciences / Chemical Sciences / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Engineering from a recognized University with 7 years of relevant research experience as evidenced by patents or publications.

(ii) Principal Scientist - l
Maximum monthly consolidated emoluments  : Upto Rs. 1,50,000/-
Age Limit : 55 years
Minimum Qualifications & Experience : MD or equivalent OR Ph.D in Life Sciences / Chemical Sciences / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Engineering from a recognized University with 7 years of relevant research experience as evidenced by patents or publications.

Management Assistant

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:
a. Appointment will be made on yearly contract basis for a period of three years (extendable to five years) with an initial probation period of six months that may be extended at the discretion of the competent authority.
b. All educational, professional and technical qualification should be from a recognized Board/University.
c. Persons working in Govt. / PSUs / autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel or produce a relevant ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of written test/skill test/interview.
d. The experience requirement specified shall be experience acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualifications specified for the post.
e. Age and other relaxations for direct recruits and departmental candidates: (i). By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities. (ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities. (iii) For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) falling under the following categories : (a) UR - 10 years , b) OBC - 13 years (c) SC/ST - 15 years (iv) For Ex-servicemen up to the extent of service rendered in defence forces (Army, Navy & Air force) plus 3 years provided they have put in a minimum of 6 months attested service. (v) Relaxation of 5 years will also be permissible to those who had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir division of the State of Jammu and Kashmir during the period from 01/01/1980 to 31 /12/1989 subject to production of relevant certificate from the concerned authority. (vi) Age is relaxable for Government servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government, from time to time (vii) There will be no upper age limit for the Institute emploes who are treated as departmental candidates.
f. Closing date of online application will be the CRUCIAL DATE for determining eligibility with regard to age, essential qualification etc.
g. Number of positions filled will be as per the Institute’s need and availability of the suitable candidates.
h. Outstation SC/ST/PWD candidates called for the written test/skill test/interview will be paid to & fro second class railway fare, as per Govt. of India rules on production of the proof of travel.

Procedure for filling online application:
a. Before filling up the online application, keep the following documents handy:
i) A soft copy of your passport size photo and signature. (only jpeg/jpg/png format, file size 40 kb maximum)
ii) A comprehensive CV (PDF format only, file size 500kb maximum) containing details of qualification, positions held, professional experience/distinctions etc.
iii) The documents in support of educational qualification and experience (PDF format only, file size 500 kb maximum) as mentioned below:
• Matriculation Mark sheet
• Intermediate Mark sheet
• Graduation Degree/Mark Sheet
• Post-Graduation Degree/Mark Sheet (if any)
• Ph.D/MD or equivalent degree (if any)
• Relevant experience certificates (if any)
• Caste / Disability certificate in the format prescribed by the Govt. of India, if applicable
• List of Publications (if any)
• List of patents (if any)
• Project Proposal (not exceeding 1000 words)
(This is required only for scientific positions ‘a’ to ‘d’ wherein the candidate is required to
identify the areas of expertise from the research themes (I&I, NCD and MCTR), core facilities (BAL, BRF, DMC and SAF) and other areas relevant with the mandate of THSTI explaining in 1000 words how they will be able to contribute to the thematic area/facility towards the project).

iv) Application fee is to be deposited online as per details given below:
Unreserved candidates/EWS : Rs 500
SC/ST/OBC/Women/PWD : Rs 300

The     payment     can     be     made    by     using     Debit     Card/Credit     Card/Internet Banking/PayTM/BhimUPI
Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

b. The eligible and interested candidates may apply online at the Institute’s website
thsti.res.in/career. Applications through any other mode, except online, will not be accepted.
• Click on the option "New User Registration" which will open up to a new screen. Fill in all the details and click on Register.
• After successful registration, a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email Id.
• Click on “Apply Now” button to see all the available job openings and start filling the form.
• An applicant can apply for one domain area through one application. In case, the applicant desires to apply for more than one area, separate application has to be submitted.
• In case, the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the "PREVIEW" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
• Once online application is submitted, no correction/modification is possible.
• Click on “Payment” button to proceed for the payment.
• On successful submission of your application, an auto-generated email containing the reference number will be sent to the email address provided. Please keep a note of the reference number for future correspondence
• Candidates are required to keep a copy of the online application form for future reference available via Print button on the dashboard.
c. Candidates must ensure that he/she fulfils all eligibility criteria as stipulated in the advertisement. If it is found that he/she does not fulfil the stipulated criteria, the candidature will be cancelled.
