The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world.
As early as in 1911, the Government of India set up the Indian Research Fund Association (IRFA) with the specific objective of sponsoring and coordinating medical research in the country. After independence, several important changes were made in the organisation and the activities of the IRFA. It was redesignated in 1949 as the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) with considerably expanded scope of functions.
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the following purely temporary post under Golden Triangle Programm (GTP) and HIV/AIDS AYUSH programme in The Division of Basic Medical Sciences, Indian Council of Medical Research, Ansari Nagar,New Delhi.
Name of the Post: SRF (Pharmacy / Pharmacology): (One)
Essential Criteria: Masters degree in Pharmacy
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC Candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Dept. of Personal and Training from time to time in this regard.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Experience in regulatory affairs
2. Knowledge of Computer Applications / Data Management
Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- + HRA
The post are purely temporary till the duration of the project. The appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side. The Selected candidate with have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR. Benefits of Provident Fund, HRA, CCA, Leave concession, Medical Claim etc. are not admissible. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
