The University of East London is a dynamic, diverse and rapidly expanding university at the heart of Europe’s largest regeneration area and adjacent to the site of the Olympic and Paralympic games in 2012.  In the 2008 RAE UEL is in the top 10 of modern (post-1992) universities in the UK for research.

The School brings together their innovative research and teaching in the fields of Biosciences, Sport and Exercise Sciences, Health Studies and Professional Health Sciences. They have a successful and expanding portfolio of taught programmes and exciting new national and international postgraduate programmes being developed. Their key research themes are Medicines Research, Infection and Immunity, Sports Science, Rehabilitation and Public Health and they are committed to expanding their research profile to reflect the multidisciplinary nature and diversity of approach within the School.


They are seeking new colleagues to teach on their Pharmacology / Pharmaceutical science programmes. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as to the School’s research agenda and administrative duties.

You will have a Ph.D in a relevant area, experience of teaching and student supervision, and a strong commitment to the student experience. An appropriate record of research and / or knowledge exchange that complements the existing interests of the School is essential.

Salary: £36,027 to £47,292 per annum inclusive of London Weighting
