Job Description:
Job Purpose:
Application of quantitative techniques and logical reasoning to create models that can help simulate field force incentive earnings. Modify existing tools according to the stakeholder requirements so as to test new scenarios of payout curves, portfolio multipliers etc.
Major Accountabilities
• Build models and tools for enhancing sales force effectiveness
• Examples of models and tools
o Sales analysis tool
o Payout curve simulation/model
o Incentive budget tracker
o KPI trackers
• Build visual-basic interface for various analytic tools
• Build strategic and operational incentive plan models and tools
• Fulfill customer requests for information and ad-hoc analysis
• Add value by implementing innovative solutions
• Provide consulting on the effectiveness of the incentive schemes
• Modeling new incentive schemes
• Delivering presentations to country marketing heads on the field force performance summary
• Drive assessments of the existing incentive process in different countries and recom-mending changes/improvements
• Conduct field force effectiveness surveys to assess current methodologies and suggest meaningful changes

Candidate Profile:
Required Skills:
• Very strong analytical & reasoning skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Visual Basic, hands on capabilities in database applications (Access, SQL)
• Well versed with Excel charts and ability to create power point presentations
• Strong foundation in Sales Performance Management and Incentive Compensation
plan design concepts
• High quantitative orientation; inclination to learn advanced statistical techniques
• Ability to apply quantitative techniques to answer business questions
• Strong written and verbal communication skill
• Flexibility to work with different countries (time-zones), groups, and business environment
• Self motivated

Experience:
• 3-5 years industry experience (Pharma domain)
• Experience working in Sales Performance Management, Incentive Compensation & Modeling domain preferred
• Engineering background preferred but not a strict criteria
• Should have proven basic people management skills
• Proven capability to drive innovation
