The Institute signifies the convergence of Medical Sciences and Technology and its mission is to enable the indigenous growth of biomedical technology, besides demonstrating high standards of patient care in medical specialties and evolving postgraduate training programs. It has a hospital for tertiary care of cardiovascular and neurological diseases, and research programmes in the areas of basic and applied medical sciences,  a Biomedical Technology Wing with facilities  and research programmes  for developing medical  devices from a conceptual stage to commercialization, and  The Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies for training and research in public health.

For a project ‘Toxicological Evaluation of a new Dental Restorative Composite’ (P-6041).

Qualification & Experience: 1st Class MSc in Chemistry with desirable research experience of six months and knowledge in computer operation.

Monthly emoluments: Rs: 12,000/- + 20 % HRA (Consolidated)

Maximum age as on: 35 years. 31-7-2012

Duration: Six months or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
