Require Project Fellow in following UGC projects, funded by University Grants Commission, Government of India | 2 - Posts


BIT, Mesra is a "Deemed University" under Sec. 3 of the U.G.C. Act 1956. The Board of Governors is responsible for the main functions and overall supervision of activities. It comprises representatives of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, the U.G.C., the State Government, The Chancellor, the AICTE, The Hindustan Charity Trust and the Institute Faculty. Shri G.P. Birla is the Chairman of the Board of Governors while the Governor of the state of Jharkhand officiates as the Institute's Chancellor.  There's a Technical Council that decides the academic policy of the Institute.

Post: Project Fellow - 2 Posts

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the post of Project Fellow in following UGC projects, funded by University Grants Commission, Government of India.

Project Title: Evaluation of antidiabetic potential of the indigenous medicinal plants of Chotanagpur region.
Name of PT and Co-PI: Dr.(Mrs) Papiya Mitra Mazumder (PI). and Dr. D. Sasmal (Co–PI).
Qualification: M.Pharm in Pharmacology.
Desirable skills:
Conversant with animal handling, biochemical analysis, histopathology and histochemistry
Duration: 3 years.
Fellowship: 8000/- p.m for all the three years.

Qualification: M.Pharm in Pharmacology.
Desirable skills:
Conversant with Cell culture, Proteomics and Flow cytometry.
Duration: 3 years.
Fellowship: 8000/- p.m. for all the three years.
