Fellowship in Defence Research & Development Organisation
Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) works under Department of Defence Research and Development of Ministry of Defence. DRDO dedicatedly working towards enhancing self-reliance in Defence Systems and undertakes design & development leading to production of world class weapon systems and equipment in accordance with the expressed needs and the qualitative requirements laid down by the three services. DRDO is working in various areas of military technology which include aeronautics, armaments, combat vehicles, electronics, instrumentation engineering systems, missiles, materials, naval systems, advanced computing, simulation and life sciences.
The following fellowships are available initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules), at a monthly stipend of Rs. 40,000/- for Research Associates (RA) and Rs. 25,000/- for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (House Rent is also admissible as per Central Govt. Norms) to work in the R&D projects of DRDO. Candidates are expected to bring their application / Bio-data and produce original educational mark sheet & cast certificates etc at the time of interview.
Essential Qualification : Ph.D in Chemistry with experience in Synthesis and Characterization of Nanomaterials

Essential Qualification : Post graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry in first division with NET qualification
No of Fellowship: 02
1. Upper Age Limit: 35 years for RA and 28 years for JRF as on interview date. The upper age limit shall be relaxable to the candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC candidates as per government of India orders.(5 years for SC/ST/PH and 3 years for OBC candidates)
2. IT MAY PLEASE BE NOTED THAT THE OFFER OF FELLOWSHIP DOES NOT CONFER ON FELLOWS ANY RIGHT FOR ABSORPTION IN DRDO.
3. The Research Fellowship may be terminated at any time during the tenure with a prior notice of one month. Fellows/Associates may resign with a prior notice of one month.
