QIAGEN is the leading provider of sample and assay technologies. Sample technologies are used to isolate DNA, RNA, and proteins from any biological sample. Assay technologies are then used to make specific target biomolecules, such as the DNA of a specific virus, visible for subsequent analysis.
We have developed and market more than 500 consumable products and automated solutions. The company provides these products to molecular diagnostics laboratories, academic researchers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and applied testing customers for purposes such as forensics, animal or food testing and pharmaceutical process control. QIAGEN's assay technologies include one of the broadest panels of molecular diagnostic tests available worldwide. This panel includes the digene HPV Test, which is regarded as a "gold standard" in testing for high-risk types of human papillomavirus (HPV), the primary cause of cervical cancer, as well as a broad suite of solutions for infectious disease testing and companion diagnostics. Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, building customer relationships, and selling the company’s products and services in the assigned territory. The ISR must have basic sales skills, at least one year of directly related sales experience, knowledge of QIAGEN products and some basic molecular biology laboratory experience. The ISR must be able to manage a territory, close opportunities and develop a plan to achieve assigned quota.  He or she should be comfortable selling to lab scientists and principle investigators or managers.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Life Science preferred
- Minimum one year of laboratory experience, or proven aptitude for laboratory techniques
Experience:
- At least 1-year of experience as Associate Inside Sales Representative with proven sales record or equivalent
- Wide range of knowledge of molecular biology applications and products. Knowledge of QIAGEN products preferred
- Proven ability to sell to PI levels


Personal Requirements
- Master Degree in Biotechnology or Biology  
- Min 1 years‘ sales or research working experience
- Proven sales record and achievements.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills at all business levels
- Good voice and excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and multi-task
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to forecast business for assigned accounts
- Fluent in English
