Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in DST (Govt, of India)- sponsored project entitled “New Generation of Fluoro Carbocyclic Nucleoside for the treatment of Hepatitis C" at Department of Chemistry, Central University of Bihar, Gaya Campus, Gaya-823001

Post: Junior Research Fellow

Qualification: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry, M.Pharma 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)

Desirable qualification: NET/GATE qualified candidates along with experience in organic synthesis, industrial experience will be given preference.

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/- + HRA as applicable (for CSIR/UGC-JRF/GATE qualified candidates)
Rs. 10,000/- + HRA as applicable (for non-NET/ non-GATE candidates)

Age Limit: Candidate must not be over 28 years on the date of advertisement, which is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC candidates as per norms of Govt, of India

• Short listed candidates will be intimated over e-mail. No separate interview Call letters will be dispatched.
• No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
• The post is purely temporary in nature and co-terminates with the project. The initial appointment will be for one year which can be extended on the basis of assessment of candidate’s performance.
• CUB reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon their qualification and experience of the candidate
• Selected candidate will receive fellowship as recommended by DST, Govt, of India.
• Hostel facility may be provided to the selected candidate subject to availability.
