Job Description
To be a key contact for medical support of both internal & external customers & the handling of medical information inquiries & drug safety issues. Ensure promotional materials are approved accordingly. Responsibility of acting as medical expert for one or more of the company’s key products and will have established reputation outside of region by close and effective cross functional collaboration. Key partner to their commercial partners and seen as adding value to the business

 Essential Responsibilities     
• To be the medical expert for one or more of the companies key products working closely with the marketing team and will represent the product at investigator initiated trial committee meetings.
• Will be the preferred scientific partner for both internal and external customers and will be the key driver of scientific training.
• Will assist in the preparation and delivery of training materials to support new staff as well as continuing the training and support of the existing staff on new products and initiatives through scientific data exchange. This will include the provision of clinical paper summaries and disease area information.
• Present business cases and key clinical evidence to both internal and external customers at individual, national and regional levels.
• Provide an additional and important contact point for relationships with Key Opinion Leaders especially in the Cardiology, Neurology, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology and Urology specialties.
• Dissemination of clinical paper summaries and disease area information.
• Responsibility for the preparation and/or review of scientific product presentations to be used in customer meetings Provide medical input to the creation of key promotional material for new or existing products and will review and provide medical content review for all advertising and promotional material.
• Provide medical leadership across functions and therapeutic areas to ensure that customers have the right scientific information to maximize quality patient care in the utilization of our products.

 Qualifications/Requirements     
1. A postgraduate degree in Clinical Medicine and licensed within their respective specialty.
2. Experience in any of radiology, or cardiology would be an advantage.
3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a medical affairs role in the pharmaceutical industry.
4. Demonstrated management skills within the Pharmacy Industry
5. Good commercial acumen and experience in a commercial environment.
6. Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to a range of internal and external customers
7. Fluent in English (both written and oral) and any other language.
