Applications are invited for Pharmacist & paramedical staff (59 openings) at OFFICE OF THE CHIEF DISTRICT MEDICAL OFFICER

 

Clinical courses

Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for the following different categories of posts under Chief District Medical Officer, Jagatsinghpur to be filled up on contractual basis with monthly remuneration as mentioned against each post.

Post: MPHW

Multipurpose Health worker (Male):
Total:- 25 UR:-13 SEBC:-3 SC:-4 ST:-5 Out of the above one post is reserved for VI category.
Remuneration: Pay Rs.5200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000
Qualification: The candidate must have passed +2 Science Examination under council of higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent course and passed Diploma in Pharmacy from any of the 03(three) Medical College & Hospital of the State or any other private institutions duly recognized by the Pharmacy Council/ All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE).

Multipurpose Health worker (Male):
Total:- Total:- 34 UR:- 17 SEBC:-4 SC:-5 ST:-8 Out of the above one post for Ex-Serviceman and one post for VI category are reserved
Remuneration: Pay Rs.5200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000
Qualification: The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate +2 Examination and passed Health Worker Female Training course conducted by the Odisha State Nursing and Midwives Board or passed out from INC (Indian Nursing Council) approved Institutions either Government or Private and having Odisha Nursing Council Registration.

NB:- VI stands for Visual Impaired disability, OH stands for Orthopedically Handicapped, HI stands for Hearing Impaired disability and W stands for reservation of Women category

Reservation:-
Reservation to SC/ST shall be made in accordance with the provisions for the ORV in posts and service (for SC & ST) Act 1975 and Rules made there under. Reservation to SEBC, Sportsmen, Ex-Servicemen and persons with disability be made in accordance with the provisions made under such Act, Rules orders, Resolutions or Instructions issued in this behalf by the Government from time to time.

ELIGIBILITY
1. Nationality:- She/ He must be a citizen of India
2. Qualification:- As mentioned in the column 5 of the advertisement
3. Age Limit:- She/He must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years on the date of advertisement. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years in case of women, SC, ST, SEBC candidates and 10 years in case of person with disability. All candidates being women shall be allowed relaxation of upper age limit in accordance with provisions of the relevant Rules as may be decided by the Government from time to time. A person who comes under more than one reserved category, shall be eligible for only one benefit of relaxation which shall be considered most beneficial to her. The upper age relaxation in case of the Ex-servicemen will be given as per Rule. Further that the candidates engaged on contractual basis under Central Plan Scheme, State Plan Scheme and externally aided Scheme who are below the age of 45 years and have Completed at least one year of continuous service shall be allowed to take part in the recruitment process for the filling up the post of above paramedics. The ASHA Karmies working in the Health system of the State who are below the age of 45 years and have completed at least one year of continuous service shall be allowed to take part in the recruitment process for the filling up the post of Staff Nurse/MPHW(F), if they are having the minimum qualification for the post of Staff Nurse/MPHW(F)

Knowledge in Odia:-
a) The candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia.
b) Passed Middle School examination with Odia as language subject or
c) Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject or
d) Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII from a school or educational institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government or
e) Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.

Marital Status:-
If married, the candidate must not have more than one spouse living except otherwise exempted by Government.

Physical Fitness:-
The candidate must be of good mental and physical health and free from any physical defects likely to make him incapable of discharging her/his normal duties in the service

Minimum Educational Qualification
The candidate must have registered her/his name in the concerned Council in the State and have possessed valid registration certificate as on the date of the advertisement. The detail in which they have to register his/her name as below 
For the post of MPHW(F)-Odisha Nursing Council
For the post of MPHW(M)-Odisha Pharmacy Council

General Condition:-
1.The post is purely temporary which can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
2.The posts of Paramedics will be filled up on contractual basis under “New Recruitment Policy”’ as laid down in the Odisha Group-C & Group-D post (Contractual appointment) Rules 2013.
3.The ORV Act & rule will be applicable for these contractual recruitments as per rule.
4.Preference will be given to the own district candidates. In case of non availability of suitable candidates for specific post and category the case of candidates from other district will be taken into consideration.
5.The applications will be received only by Registered post/ Speed post.
6.The application should reach in the office of the Chief District Medical Officer, Jagatsinghpur on or before 25.05.2016. No application shall be entertained beyond stipulated time.
7.The applicant should clearly mention the post applied for in the application form and the envelope containing the documents must be superscribed by “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF __________________(name of the post))”.
8.The applications received after due date and incomplete manner will be rejected.
9. The authority will not be responsible for any postal delay.
10.The selection of candidate will be made according to merit as per recent Govt. guideline. No additional weightage will be given for higher qualification.
11.One envelope should contain only one application. Candidates who have to apply for more than one post should apply separately.
12.The employees working under Health & FW Department, Odisha, in the Central Plan Schemes, State Plan Schemes and Externally Aided Schemes who are below the age of 45 years of age on the date of advertisement and have completed at least one year of continuous service and the Paramedics presently working under NHM out of 10,301 created post can apply though proper channel and will be given 1% (one percent) weightage for each completed year maximum of fifteen percent if they applied through proper channel i.e. obtaining a NOC/service certificate from the concerned competent authority mentioning the date of joining in the post.
13.No personal enquiry/approach or correspondences will be entertained.
14.The undersigned reserves all right to reject any or all applications and modify/cancel the advertisement/the process of recruitment at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
15.The candidates are required to enclose documents along with the application form duly attested/self attested
