Applications are invited in the given proforma for the post of Director and Deputy Director, (General Central Service, Group 'A', Gazetted, Non- Ministerial) in Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/- and Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- respectively on deputation (including short-term contract) basis at Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia Laboratory, Ghaziabad.

DIECTOR
Eligibility
For deputation (Including Short Term Contract)
Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories or Universities or recognised research institutions or public sector undertakings or Semi-Government or autonomous bodies or statutory organisations:
a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with five year's service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay band-3, Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs. 6600/- or equivalent in the par¬ent cadre or department; and
(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
Essential:
(i) Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Chemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutics or Botany or Microbiology or Pharmacognosy or Pharmacology or Bacteriology or Biochemistry or M Sc. in Drug Assay from a recognised University or institute;
(ii) Ten year's experience in a Pharmacopoeial Laboratory or in any other recognised research institution engaged in research on crude drugs or testing and standardisation of Homoeopathy drugs (including experience in setting up and running a laboratory) including five years' experience of guiding or directing research in Homoeopathy.

Desirable:
(i) doctorate degree in relevant subject mentioned as essential educational qualification at (i) above.
(ii) two years administrative experience in a research or analytical laboratory and coordinating the activities of different branches of the laboratory.
(iii) two year's experience of manufacturing of drugs used in Homoeopathy.
Note 1: The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
Note 2: The period of deputation (including short contract) including period of deputation (includ¬ing short contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed four years.
Note 3: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall not exceed fifty-six years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications. Note 4: For the purposes of appointment on deputation basis, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to the 1st January, 2006 or the date from, which the revised pay structure based on the recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission has been extended, shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the said Pay Commission except where there has been merger of more than one pre-revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade pay or pay scale and where this benefit will extend only for the post(s) for which that grade pay or pay scale is the nor¬mal replacement grade without any upgradation.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR
Eligibility

For deputation (Including Short Term Contract)

(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with five years services in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay band-3, Rs. 15600-39100/- with grade pay Rs. 5400/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
Note 1: The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

(ii) Five years' experience in analysis or testing or standardisation of Homoeopathic drugs (as evidenced by publication) in a Pharmacopoeial or Pharmaceutical Laboratory.
Desirable:
(i) doctorate degree in the relevant subject mentioned as essential educational qualification at (i) above;
(ii) publication of papers on standardisation of drugs; and
(iii) one year administrative experience in running a laboratory and coordination of activities of dif¬ferent branches of the laboratory.

The pay and other terms and conditions of the official selected will be governed by the provisions laid down in Govt, of India.

Applications must be forwarded alongwith (i) Attested copies (on each page) of ACRs for the last five years (ii) Cadre Clearance (CC), Integrity Certificate (1C), Vigilance Clearance (VC) and details of Major/Minor penalty (MMP) imposed during last ten years and details of Court Cases, if any, in original, duly signed & stamped by Competent Authority through proper channel so as to reach the undersigned within 45 days from the date of publication of this Advt. in the 'Employment News'. While 'forwarding the applications it may be ensured that the particulars of the candidates are verified and that they fulfill the eligibility conditions and the required documents are enclosed with the applications.

Applications received after the due date or without the required documents or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered.
