Job Description
Jr. Business Analyst, Corporate Sustainability
The role of Novozymes’ Corporate Sustainability division is to understand the implications of global and regional sustainability agendas for our business and act accordingly to address risks and pursue opportunities. We also work to influence the agendas in accordance with our business interests through a variety of stakeholder engagements, while also documenting the sustainability benefits of our own solutions in the market.

Role & Responsibilities
As Jr. Business Analyst, you will work closely with colleagues to develop and provide analyses and data needed for all/many of our industry groups and key customers globally. Help our businesses use sustainability as a business differentiator, and also identify new business opportunities based on sustainability challenges.
You will report to the Manager - Sustainability Business Analysis and will be based in Bangalore.

Your areas of responsibility include:
Plan, design, and execute market research studies – (e.g. market, demographic, economic, and other financial data) from internal and external sources (e.g. databases, articles, statistics, industry reports) and in some cases conduct primary market research
Structure and analyze research data so as to effectively answer the defined key questions
Establish conclusions – answers to key questions, the implications for Novozymes and the recommendations to NZ stakeholders
Make structured and concise communication – prepare and present the work (typically in a PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) to internal stakeholders (Mid\Senior level management)
Track the global sustainability agenda (relevant to NZ businesses) and keep up-to date on relevant developments globally. Summarize and share with stakeholders when relevant
Develop concept notes covering solutions, markets, partners, financials (back-of-the-envelope) and project plans on NZ opportunities/solutions driven by sustainability

Qualifications
An ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualification:
MBA from premier institute
1-2 years’ experience in market or financial research, for example as part of research support for a large multinational corporation, consulting firm, or investment back
Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem solving
Experience in driving/managing corporate projects
Experience working with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Good English communication skills – verbal and written
Experience working remotely with contact to colleagues located at different locations around the world
Sustainability bent of mind
A positive, proactive/self-driven, and open-minded team player
