The role is of entrepreneurial in nature and the incumbent shall be responsible for developing the sales & distribution of BU in all relevant channels viz. Chemist, Grocers & emerging channels Organization Consumer Care division is part of Abbott India Limited which is one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies Headquartered in Mumbai, Abbott India Limited, a publicly listed company and a subsidiary of Abbott Laboratories, enjoys strong brand equity in multiple therapeutic categories such as Women's Health, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Thyroid, Diabetes & Urology, Pain Management, Vitamins, Anti-Infectives & other therapy areas. Responsible for developing annual sales budgets, implementing sales plan, building sales forecast, monitoring the sales performance and take corrective actions based on competition activities to achieve annual targets.
Execution of RTM & GTM strategy for the brand with FF capability enhancement.
Execution of trade marketing strategy to ensure efficient utilization of budgets.
Develop and drive the commercial and distribution strategy in conjunction with marketing and /BU management.
Drive sales team to implement channel expansion plans and throughout to achieve primary and secondary channel objectives for portfolio mix
Ensure Implementation of all BTL activities, drive visible availability in all relevant channels.
Deliver operational excellence in terms of rolling sales forecast as well as commercial discipline by ensuring execution as per SOP.
Managing and developing the sales team comprises of BMs/ABMs/ASEs and front-line people
Work on developing the forecast and plans for BD&L opportunities as and when they arise
Be the one-point contact and person responsible from AIL, for all Abbott Branding execution at the POS in all channels (current and emerging).
Also, own and execute the coordination with other BUs regarding the Medical Detailing with the help of ethical channel team.
Man-power management i.e. correct allocation of manpower in the correct geographies
Ensuring ROI of all BTL activity and strong execution at the field level.
