Clinical Trial Supply Southeast 2017

Clinical courses

Clinical Trial Supply Southeast will be returning to North Carolina this June. The 3rd annual event will bring together industry peers in the Southeast area to discuss and discover potential solutions to the biggest challenges with clinical supply processes, with speakers from US Customs, GSK, Biogen and many more. This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen your strategies and make new business connections.

With nearly 2/3 of clinical budgets being spent on the supply chain, the financial benefits which can be yielded from an optimized operation is tremendous. Furthermore, with various small and medium pharma companies in the Research Triangle Park, forecasting also becomes crucial as any mistakes or delays can lead to trials collapsing.

This year, our flagship CTS Southeast event has altered its focus slightly towards the supply chain; providing companies with ways to reduce delays and financial setbacks by minimizing uncertainty to enhance the performance, with case studies from: U.S. Customs and Border Patrol,GSK and Biogen.

In this session, we will examine methods to obtain import permits, how to maintain a good relationship with logistics partners and ways to reduce risk of damage to your clinical supplies at border control.

GSK - Greg Hottell
The search for supply chain efficiency has been a pressing challenge for many small pharma businesses. Greg Hottell will be going through the impact of forecasting to minimize costs, agile approaches to respond to demand and lead times alterations as well as the latest innovation in forecasting.

Biogen - Tim Holmes

In this session, we welcome the performance operational manager, Tim Holmes, to share with us first hand on how to improve clinical study start-up and budgeting.

Here are the top 3 reasons why you should attend out CTS Southeast Conference in 2017:
1.Excellent networking opportunities: The Clinical Trial Supply Southeast Conference is going into its 3rd year in 2017 and we have already built up an excellent, high-level client list. Our audience in 2016 were rubbing shoulders with the FDA, US Customs and Border Protection, GSK, and Pfizer, as well as top vendors from across the US.
2. Ongoing inefficiencies in the clinical supply chain: The clinical supply chain is a very complex beast with many different balls in the air to constantly juggle. The Clinical Trial Supply Southeast Conference gives you the opportunity to dive deep into each aspect of this supply chain and ensure that your efforts are getting you the best results.
