K. Experience not required for any work. Just do. U get experience. Weather good or bad after the experience u feel its pain or happy or paining but enjoying
first take experience and then think about the salary...people are becoming more salary oriented rather than learning something new in the industry...where there is a will there is a way..
after 6 years of studying pharmacy,4 yrs b pharma n 2 years m pharma u want me to have patience n learn things??? wherever i go they want reference or experience. without giving job hw can i get experience?? everywhere bsc people are working in that case y differentiate pharma with science, club them n make it one so that this confusion is not there.with less 10 k per month how do u expect me to survive?? petrol expenses? accommodation?? food? wat else will remain for me with 10 k... n with poor state when should i get married.. just for name sake we are post graduates.. this is just a good joke.. in first year we are tought scope of pharmacy.. where is that scope?? can anyone show ???
am sathish from chennai. completed m.pharm in may 2011 and after long searching got job in
QA. we shold prove ourself as pharma peoples are superior than others in pharma industry. for that we should have unity, hard working....
i agree sathish...
Wat are the choices fr a b.pharm graduate after doin b.pharm? Is mba better than m.pharm?
To occupy a good score in gpat is also very challenging and its very competitive....and people say tht afta m.pharm also u dont get a good respected job? so is there any other alternative to go fr afta b.pharm?
dear friend after b.pharm most of the pharma graduates are in dilemma whether they should go with MBA or M.pharm both line have equal importance.if you are extrovert and meeting people, talkative, good presentation skill is your strength then you should go with MBA as i choose MBA. YOu can start your carrier as Management Trainee or sales representative or product Executive depend upon your choice and openings. once you start your carrier, you will realize pharama sector is flourishing like any thing after getting 2 years experience you will see your growth and money. Same applicable in M.Pharm if you are focused in Research and formulation and you love to sit in a place don't want to travel too much.innovation or academics is your interest then you should opt M.pharm. but now a days M.pharm is Essential requirement for the future growth after M.pharm you can move towards MBA.Pharma growth is steady and gradually.so having patience is mandatory.
how does having an additional degre M.Pharm helps, when we move towards MBA after that
You are very true that there are not so many vacancies in our sector, but we have to maintain it because there are so many other options as you discussed,

dear all pharmacists---
why i am saying pharmacist to all, because we all are registered some where to the Pharmacy council at any qualification we have it(D.PHARM/B.PHARM/M.PHARM/P.hd).now the reason why pharmacy is less job oriented---there may be so many reasons for the development of the pharmcy stream, but what i think is that--- the 1st one is there is no syatemic regulation in govt. sector regarding to the qualification orientated jobs.2ndly the council sleepness behaviour for implimentaion of qualification oriented jobs in the govt. sector. 3rd. councils are only restricted to industry oriented rather than govt. sector, which is also not fruitfull to the pharmacists at any level except few exception. council less sounding to pharmacy practices and designted orientation which makes all to less job satisfaction from begening of the pharmacy to top qualification of pharmacy.
another one is knowledge of the their specilization in which we should at least optimum level to make himself to say yes -- we all are pharmacist--- or pharmacy human beings apart of any level of education----
Illiteracy is far better than M.Pharm. Because Illiteracy person can do any job but M.Pharm can not.
Its very true in general sense but success is because of the vision and not qualification
You are 100% right..Pharma field is totally worst and there is no future in this field.this course should be close completly.
Your thinking is totally worst man..Which era you are living? once you opted for this field then have the GUTS to face it rather than discouraging other people. if pharma field is closed then whom will the society consult? The doctors????
so pls wake up and fight for our rights.
THIS IS THE BEST COMMENT, WHICH WE SEEN TILL NOW
After M.Pharm you can go for the best opportunity if u didnt get that so you can join any work means if u have that power to spark anywhere so anywhere you can become a king because you are master.

doing pharmacy is worst
Pharmacist is not the person required by the industrialist but he is required by the community, loosing hope is one thing that pharmacist should'nt do. In the modern era where consumer is becoming aware of the product he is using its the role of pharmacist to spread awareness of importance of GMP and GLP which will not only generate jobs in private sector but also will put forward the neww face of old pharmacist. we are persons of dying community which is called pharmacist, but hell who said we will go without a fight. So i appeal to find and search every single Pharma company which is not GMP and GLP and write an article about it. then we will file a writt in supreme court applying as negligence toward the community healthcare.
VIVA LA PHARMACIST
Well as we all know its hard to get into the pharma industry sector of India, I would like to ask you a counter question what do you expect from your job profile? Now day we are focusing on the salaries so hard that we are loosing our touch as pharmacist our aim was not to make a molecule or drug that have some pharmacological activities our aim of education was the work done in compliance with the regulations put forwarded by the goverment of India. besides giving what we are expected to give, we are way off our feilds wondering why BSc and MSc people are having better job oppertunities. I don't know about you but I was taught that pharmacist thrives on the energy of the society and contacts he/ she made in the life so stay in touch with all your friends and try to publish your work. BE AN ENTREPRENEUR IN YOUR FIELD.Try finding out this that how many pharma companies are there in country and how many of them are GMP and GLP certified. Motivation is the thing that comes from within the person no one can motivate you but can inspire you............ regards S.S
I also completed M.Pharm in year 2011 and searching a job at Baddi from last 3 months but not success , why? because Industry say- u r a fresher, u don't know the ABCD of the company and without high reference we do not hire u.
Now who r experienced, one day they were also a fresher how can they forget this? somebody gave them chances that's why now they r experienced.
one day I see vacancy at baddi, there r several post vacant like QA,QC, Production etc. but they want only Bsc & Msc candidate. No B.pharm, M.pharm require. Industry think B.sc & Msc is suitable for all activity, some of our pharma seniors those r having now at Manager, GM, VP etc. these people r also not helping a pharma professional.
This is the current situation of pharma profession.....
Illiteracy is better then Pharma...
PCI should take the responsibility for this nonsense because they made separate board for all the pharma functions & college infrastructure , registration process. they should pass the serious circular for who did graduation/ PG. pharmaceutical companies should maintain certain number of pharma candidates in every pharmaceutical & biotechnology companies. the board should fight with AICTE.
My Dear Pharma friends,
I agree on my one frainds sentence its not ur fault its system fault and its true fact which we should have to accept we dont know ABC, b'coz we not learning in that view in our academic. Indian Pharma sector is mostly production oriented n academic trying to cover all aspects of scope. So till our study syllabus doesnt match with industry u'll never know what exactly ur role in future industry.
Next thing regarding non Pharma people in field. For that simply I want to say "FISH CAN SWIM FASTER IN WATER THAN RABIT" so never forget u r FISH n dont cry just try utilise ur theory n lern practical things. No one can stop u in our water.
ALL THE BEST.....
yes its true and most of the compinies payin 6500 /month for b.pharma graduates and 10000 for m.pharma graduates .And more over they r payin the same for B.SC graduates, adn who all r all joined in industries they r walkin of frm this feild to BPO sector like UHG,thomsonreutors, novarties for QA CRA,CRO, by doin certifications.
Y the bpharm and mpharm student after completing study y r the looking for reference
dear frnds hello....
as govt. has created few govt. job on d.pharma basis only den wats d mean of running these b & m.pharma courses........oh and now why dis pharma d.....?and also dont restricting d entry of b n m.sc in private sectors....no rules & regulation............................so jago re ....jago dear frnds and be unite.
in academy you can enter as a assistant professor in any pharmacy college. As a fresher you will get 12 k to 18k depending on institutes norms.
You should try for enroll in ph.d.,after completion of your research you will get 30k to 40k.
Best of luck
i agree with u that pharmacy profession is not getting the value which it deserve.its due to worst system of our council which is not doing anything better for us. we should unite and make sound at court that if there is no jobs for b.pharm and m.pharm then why these courses are running...???? why PCI is not independent authority for education system (as AICTE is involved) even when it have all regulation.?? d.pharm is essential qualification for registration of pharmacist, then what for b.pharm/m.pharm...?? there should be qualification based salary system. govt have to make policy to organize a board (like IBPS for banking) which recruit the b.pharm/mpharm candidate and give job them in pharma industry.
Thanks and Regards
ALL PHARMA COMPANIES SHOULD TAKE ONLY PHARMA GRADUATES.THEN NO PHARMACY PERSON WILL BE UN EMPLOYED
Revolution for Rights is must in the field of Pharmacy. Many of the job seekers holding the degree of Pharmacy are still jobless because it is open for all types...
Govt. should look forward into this matter as early as possible, because if the revolt begins then govt. will be held responsible for it... For B.Tech Students still there are ample of jobs and huge package, because they understand the feelings, mentality, hardwork done by the Professional Degree Holders like; B.PHARM, M.Pharm, B.Tech, Or, M.Tech.
But the person at high posts and the Government doesn't think about it... Because they don't need professionals in this industry, the just need cheap labours without any creativity, technique to progress. They are just busy in making new VISIONS, such as; Vision 2011, 2012.... 2020... And i am sure that nothing good is going to happen by just simply making such visions every year, it's all nuisance!!
I just request the govt. and other main working bodies of Pharma Industries to learn something from an IT and other Sectors and to think about us- "the Professional Degree Holders." Because once this revolution evokes then it'll will not be an easy task for the govt. to settle it down.
ya u r r8
IF ALL PHARMA STUDENTS STRIKE A WEEK THEN NO MEDICINES FOR THE PATIENTS .BECAUSE NO ONE OTHER THAN PHARMACIST HAS THE RIGHT TO DISPENSE. GOVERNMENT WILL THEN LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND WILL TAKE NORMS TO RECRUIT PHARMA GRADUATES IN PHARMA COMPANIES.
YES, I've read most of all opinions about phamra field. I'think most of them are correct. Atually we dont have that much scope compared to engineering or other field. Now a days many of UG & PG are wondering here & there for job. Why this situation is? What should we do to overcome this situation that we have to think. Here the system prolem is there. That means no of pharma colleges started inspite of looking the scope & outcome of the students per year. The industries are not entertaining pharma graduate rather preffer Science graduate. This may be because of the salary.
Actually I request you all to unite & struggle for our existance in field. We have to demand our government that no any comapny can be given licemce without the recruitment of pharma garduate only & not the science graduate. This can be done by Govt. by passing the bill in favour of us, otherwise close the extra colleges or dont give the permisson to new colloges that are adding to the existing one. You make one website so that everone can join & fight to get our Right.
i really appreciate your idea.i want to suggest u why dnt u start a website and we all will join u definately.it will be a good start and we hope our profession will rise again
Hello...my dear friend...!!
I have started to unite pharma peoples, students as well as industry persons who wants to be a part of pharma revolution. Some of our basic issues should reach to the government and these should only be possible after a unite effort. Not only a single effort can reach a goal..so my request to all our pharma brothers and sisters to unite to reach our goal.
First of all we have reach to a reasonable numbers of members who are actively participated then i ll start a website.
i want to know and spread this to each n every pharma person.
I have started pharmacist union on facebook..in which every pharma person free to join n support.!!
its a humble request to every pharmacist to support our pharma profession survival..!!
I M not able to see struggle of my pharma friends who have invested their time as well as money for their pharma carrier and hardly getting paid only 8-10,000 per month.
Remember a union can stand only by support of its member..
